Here at Knee Deep Outfitters, our mission is to deliver unique and high-quality products that our customers love.  We also aim to support local businesses here in Wilmington and the U.S. which we accomplish by using local print shops, local artists, and others along the way.  We have a commitment to our products but along with this, we have a commitment to the inspiration for our brand, the coast.  From tropical islands or local beaches to our oceans and rivers, we plan on supporting the care of the coastal environment so that one day our kids and even their kids can enjoy the coastal lifestyle that we love. 

Our Story

Hey Y'all! I am Derrick Hankins, the founder of Knee Deep Outfitters. I am currently a student at UNC Wilmington studying Finance and I am also the marketing chair for the UNCW Fishing Club. I started Knee Deep to bring fun and unique designs that embody the coastal lifestyle I love, with a focus on quality products for you to enjoy.  I plan on growing our catalog with a variety of apparel and accessories along with technical products for boating and fishing.  I thank you for taking a look at our brand and I hope you join us on our journey!
